Data processed
Depending on use, data processed includes display name, name, email address, profile picture if provided, chat, audio and video content, and technical metadata such as meeting details, IP address, device and log data. According to the existing company information, video meetings are not recorded. At least a name is required to participate.
Purpose and legal basis
Processing serves the agreed meeting. Article 6(1)(b) GDPR applies to contractual or pre-contractual meetings. The existing notice refers to Article 6(1)(a) GDPR for other voluntary meetings; the applicable basis and any required consent must be reviewed before use. Participation is not treated here as blanket consent to international data transfers.
Recipients and international transfers
Microsoft processes data to provide the service. Processing outside the EU cannot be ruled out. The source notice refers to a data processing agreement and EU standard contractual clauses. Current contractual terms, transfer mechanisms, recipients and safeguards must be confirmed before publication.
Items requiring review
